Roland VS640 Damper – 1000012719 (Replaces 1000006526) Description

The Roland VS640 Damper (Part No. 1000012719) is the original Roland® solvent-resistant ink damper, designed for the VS series and compatible with a wide range of Roland printers including BN, EJ, FH, RA, RE, RF, RT, VS, XF, XR, and XT models. It replaces the discontinued 1000006526 and ensures stable ink flow for consistent, high-quality printing.

This white/translucent damper is specifically recommended for use with all Roland® ESL (Eco-Sol Maxx) inks. While the black damper (1000013784) can be used as an alternative, Roland recommends the 1000012719 for optimal performance and durability in these applications.

Key Differences:

• The black damper (1000013784) features a tighter mesh screen, making it suitable for advanced ink types.
• It is the required damper for the LEC2-300 (UV ink) and XT-640 (sublimation ink) models.

For all printers using Eco-Sol Maxx inks, the white damper (1000012719) remains the preferred choice.
