Epson 4720 Printhead Description

The Epson 5113 printhead has attracted much attention since its launch in 2015 and has been widely praised. It is widely used in the textile industry and is also deployed in the paper printing and direct printing markets. The 4720 printhead launched in 2017 is further improved based on the 5113. It is changed to a corrosion-resistant printhead and can use an external ink damper.

1. Number of nozzles: The Epson 4720 printhead has 8 rows of nozzles and a single row of 400 nozzles. The entire printhead has a total of 3200 nozzles (so the market also calls it Epson 3200). The number of nozzles is the same as the Epson 5113.

2. Printhead width: The effective width is 1.3 inches.

3. Speed performance: 3PASS high-speed printing can be achieved, and the printing speed of a single nozzle machine can reach 30 square meters/hour.

4. Purpose: The Epson 4720 printhead is corrosion-resistant. It is suitable for water-based, oil-based inks, solvents, UV, coatings, sublimation, etc. It is a multi-purpose printhead.
