The Kyocera KJ4A-TA is a high-performance, single-color piezoelectric printhead engineered for industrial digital printing applications requiring precision, speed, and reliability. With a maximum drive frequency of 20 kHz and a minimal droplet volume of 6 pl, it delivers fine detail and consistent print quality at high line speeds—up to 76.2 m/min—making it suitable for fast-moving production lines.

This printhead features 2,656 nozzles arranged across a 108.25 mm wide print swath, offering an effective coverage comparable to two Ricoh GEN5 printheads combined. The narrow nozzle pitch (0.042 mm) enables high-density printing at 600 dpi, ideal for text, barcodes, and fine graphics in label, packaging, and surprint workflows.
