Kyocera KJ4B-0300 Printhead Description

The Kyocera KJ4B-0300 printhead is a high-resolution inkjet printhead with a native resolution of 300 dpi × 600 dpi and a maximum drive frequency of 30 kHz. It supports a droplet size range of 5 to 12 picoliters and achieves a maximum print speed of 76.2 m/min. The printhead features 2,656 built-in nozzles arranged across an effective print width of 112.35 mm, enabling high-speed and high-definition printing.

It uses AQ ink and has a recommended ink viscosity range of 6.0 to 7.0 mPa·s. The printhead’s unique ink channel design ensures a stable ink supply. With a total dot ejection rate of approximately 150 million dots per second, it delivers high throughput performance. To enhance speed, the printhead employs methods such as increasing the driving frequency, optimizing nozzle geometry, and adjusting the waterproof film material. Nozzle recirculation is not supported.
