Konica 1024LHB 42PL Printhead Description

TThe Konica Minolta KM1024 LH print head, also known as the KM1024 LHB, is a robust shear mode piezo on-demand printhead designed for both binary and 8-level greyscale operation. This enables variable drop sizes and improved print quality without requiring additional printheads. As a significant upgrade over the KM512 series, it offers twice the print width and double the greyscale levels. Featuring 1024 nozzles and a 42 picoliter droplet size, it achieves a native resolution of 360 dpi. The printhead operates at lower voltages than standard inkjet heads, with a new actuator that reduces power consumption. It supports solvent, UV, and oil-based inks, and includes an integrated heater to ensure reliable performance with high-viscosity inks.
